Hello foreigners,
You have come here on the forum from team [NL],
This topic is of course, with a little wink.
With the spelling bee correction:
If you ain't Dutch, you ain't much!
A lesson about Holland:
Yes we all wear clogs.
If we go in to battle we have to drink a little:
We have a lot of words for mills, we create our own land and we are on average about -5 metre under sealevel. Our national anthem has 15 couplets but we only sing one. It's considered as one of the oldest National Anthem in the world. Our language is Dutch, oftenly mistaken to be Deutsch, which is the German language. We have a long history about the VOC, they have brought Africans to the US, but also the settlement on US soil ground which is now known as New York City, this city was traded against Suriname. We are proud of our culture which has the celebration of a Dutch Santa Claus, our Drug Policy and our Red Light District.
Our motto:
"Je maintiendrai" (French)
"Ik zal handhaven" (Dutch)
"I shall endure" (English)
We hope you have fun on this forum!
Greetings from team [NL],
Bart
